Devenir piedra (“Becoming Stone”) is a ritualistic, durational performance that explores the reciprocal relationship between a moving – and a non-moving body. Be it a stone, an ideology, a thought: over the course of 12 hours, the performance explores how the movements of these two matters meet, adjust to each other. While the body of stones is brought into motion, the moving body slows. A meeting of matter. An exchange.
The performance reflected on the impact that symbols, be it material or idealistic, has on a body.

The performance was realized in the framwork of a Residency at KONVENT.0 in Cal Rosal, Berga, Spain.
